My dearest, my dream’s wildest rage,
Today in a glass shop-window,
I saw a wondrous something,
Beautiful as was stunning,
Hard to define, harder to know,
And yet of immense value,
One-of-a-million rarity
That can rise in no gravity,
And which, I wished to buy for you,
But it was, dear, my own image!

Liked this poem - especially surprise ending. I wished to buy for you, but it was dear, my own image. Loved the touch of humor there. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
