Reflections Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Reflections

Rating: 3.0

The words that flow bring to light
Reminiscing thoughts in the night
Riding on the back of a gray beast
Prowling and revealing the deceased

Flying with wings crimson and amber
Thrashing within the hissing clamor
Escaping from the gravitational pull
Reflecting upon a past that is plentiful

From a self contained shell…hatching
Magnetically seeking and attracting
Tunneling into the burrows of the mind
Gathering red roses soaked in brine

Vivid images of what gets a writers juices flowing with the inspiration to put it down on paper/internet. In case you haven't already seen Billy Collin's explanation of this process, I'll send you an exerpt from his 'This Much I Do Remember' as a comment. Tom
