Reflective Contemplation - Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Leaves changing colors in the dark of night.
Moon shining, reflecting yellow and red from
branches holding out their arms.
Life is like trees, showing off their splendor,
as it brings you to your knees.

Life is like trees, showing off their splendor,
as it brings you to your knees. Splendor show and bringing to the knees...........
contrasting terms. yes that is life. ups and downs and unexpected curves can bring one to knees from the glory and splendor. thank you dear poetess. tony
