Reform First Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Reform First

Your hand shall stop in mid air
When you are going to perform unfair
It shall always lack courage
And hands shall barely manage

Your heart shall rescind
To show the gesture of unkind
It has no intensity and power
To demonstrate it with generous offer

Why we need gunmen around?
When no threat is found
When no harm is to be done
And hatred has already gone

There is no other weapon like love
It has been already proved
Love may always impose
Will over wicked and surprise

Power is weapon of weak
When they lack to speak
Truth in real form
Self may need reform first
