Refugee's Plea Poem by ANN MARY

Refugee's Plea

Dear world, open your eyes to the refugee's plea
Help them out of their bed of thorns
They don't have a house, but they do have a heart
Oh world, please don't be deaf and dumb -
toward's their endless struggles and cries!
They are just seeking a refuge, bread and water,
Please let them in, open your doors of empathy.
Don't give them your identity but don't deny them identity
Because they do have a heart but it's aching in pain
Sobe kind and help them out of darkness
Remember in you dwells heaven, hell and God!
