Regretted It Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Hay, hay, I shouted with filthy language
I was out of control and in total rage
Some thing had enraged me for shouting bad words
I had lost complete sense and forgot even lord

I sat down and regretted it a lot
What was I doing on the spot?
Everybody was observing with full surprise
Why was I upset with language and its use?

I felt like to weep but restrained
Calm was returning to normal and maintained
I went back with full exercise
It was total recall of devil with anger's rise

I was not suppose to loose temper
After certain age you got to balance and remember
That love is the only way to respond
Affection and 'let go attitude 'can only well correspond

I am again to my original mood
Its implications are correctly understood
We have all sorts of devil's residing
Heart is pure but always rescinding

Church, temples or for that part even mosques
They are all within us and certainly mark
Lead us to the use of proper conduct
Bring us within ambit of relevant facts

Many a times we ignore the inner call
Enter into futile controversy and invite fall
The name gets spoiled with much discomfort later
Some times you get changed from admirer to hater

Give proper input to heart that is called so divine
Feed it with compassion and love to look fine
Not all kind of out bursts should be given thorough access
If so then the bright shine may soon disappear from face
