Rejoice Being Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Rejoice Being

Rating: 5.0

Tulips and daffodils… are frozen recollections
Snow now glitters as it glides to the ground
Blanketing earth’s floor without objections
Dormant bulbs sleep … uttering not a sound

White geometric crystals accumulate bit by bit
Covering every lifeless stem and blade in sight
Pristine layers gather before they’re ready to quit
Unmatched beauty gleams in the sapphire night

Winter enchantment gains yielding acceptance
Many marvel at the endless diamond canvas
Months of cold dwindle…melting in appearance
Magically the thaw reveals green growing grass

Praying leaves sprout from unmarked graves
Stretching heavenward…rejoicing being
Liquefying snow gives moisture plants crave…
Tulip and daffodil colors we’ll soon be seeing
