Rejection - Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

When you are told you can’t.
Life takes a much different slant.
Inside you know that there is hope.
You cannot stop because of 'nope.'

Let the positive energy from within
Shine brightly; courageously begin.
Inadequate praise is now being replaced.
Approval and success are now embraced.

Now you can praise the day you were rejected.
You have achieved more than anyone expected.
You have been motivated to show your talent.
The applause confirms your efforts were gallant.

'Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but really great people make you feel that you, too can become great.'
