Relationship Downhill Poem by Jeremy Isabell

So much pain so much hurt
All these words make me feel like dirt
Does it matter, Do you care
Watch my tears fall filled with despair
You say you love me and your sorry too
but actions show its a lie but whats new
you take things like a joke
but soon you will find
me out of reach so far behind
sometimes its meant to be
sometimes its not
maybe some things are best
when left to rot
you stay for hope that things will be better
but again it begins to crack and fade like old leather
storms of feelings and hurt arise
soon one day you will find the prize.
