I was offering her
an olive branch
as I opened up
to praise her.

But a cold, untrue,
crass, cutthroat,
nasty, and
breathtakingly
savage
like reaction
came from her.

When I couldn't
shake the pain
of this conversation,

I eventually laid
the whole thing
out to God like
it was my last resort.

So well penned sir. The biggest enemy of every relationship is lack of communication. It's a complex thing to understand but we all don't consider. When we are hurt, we just think of ourselves don't even try to understand why other person even have to utter those words. It takes a lot of effort to nurture relationship. Good work. Appreciations sir.
