Relieve Confusion Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Relieve Confusion

I don't recognize a thing
As I search for my mind
Wondering who rearranged
I must be blind….I can't find

What I once knew
seems broken and dismembered
As I take a deep breath...
I try to remember

Within the same dimension
yet far beyond in the stillness
I look for a day of comforting
relief… a cure for this illness

The time has come to
stop wishing and concede
Sweep away the numbness...
A new beginning is what I need

Moving forward from confusion
Taking the key to my heart
finding another place to reside...
a home where trust doesn't fall apart
