Relievedme Fromgnawing Grief Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Relievedme Fromgnawing Grief

Iconveyed my vow made through a message
For keeping me away from your eyes.
But Godas usual played some tricks
and brought me face to face with you.

I called truce and spoke with you
when you did evade and downed your looks.
Your sorrow laden face blossomed bright
and told me your sorry plight.

The talk on 'MuruganIdly shop
bridged the gap and we went together
exchanging jokes and your silent smiles.
You are in my poems more than twenty
with fascinatingsmiles in plenty.

Don'tfeelsorry for the temporal setback
You can remedy it as your brain isn't fake.
Seeing not your face for ten killing days,
my heartwas at the verge of collapse.
But God my friend drew you before me
to relieve me fromthegnawinggrief.
