Relieved Of Drudgery Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Relieved Of Drudgery

Reaching for the American Dream, doing it my way, not wanting
to follow others down paths of slavery and dependence.

Coming into my own, relieved of the drudgery and unproductive-
ness others have put upon me throughout life.

Now knowing what needs to be done in order to prosper, be free
and do what I want in this earthly life.
