Religion? Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Religion?

Religion complicates
Diverts devotion
Truth it negates
To create confusion.

Religion is man-made
Of finite views
Deception there laid
The trap subdues.

Garbs of piousness
Rituals of show
Mask the emptiness
Where Blindness grows.

Religion is useless
Can never transform
For all its pompousness
It's a hollow form.

Find Wisdom's brook
Drink life direction
All in God's Book
It's your Resurrection!
