Relived Poem by kimberly hays

Relived

Rating: 5.0

one moment
over and over relived
vivid reflections on past misery and happiness
a thousand
should haves and have nots
hang bleakly
like some large gaudy chandelier
in rooms better left closed
but frequently visited
ghosts haunt not things house
but the memories of those still here
somehow i still feel you
thought it has been such a long time
since out last touch
our last kiss
scars
still pink and painful
cover my heart still broken
every night
when i cry to an empty bed
i whisper i love you to your cold pillow
only to sleep and dream dreams
of moments
relived

A mournful but very passionate love poem, well articulated and nicely penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. A heartfelt and beautiful rendition. Thanks for sharing Kimberly.
