Relocated Implication Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Relocated Implication

In a tomorrow yet to come.
When people are known, Shown.
To do,
Incredible stupid things.
Not to text or whisper.
Or...videoed sent.
More difficult becomes,
Re-occurring events like this...
To dismiss.
As a mere implication.
That probability of it, is none.

'What you have heard to hear,
Is not an implication.
That stupidity has been,
Long confirmed to validate.
Period.
Fact! Backatcha! '

That sin committed,
Is no different...
Than others given consent.
Soul sellers,
And empty head dwellers.
Have sat high in positions,
Everywhere...
Although unseen,
As authorities...
Of our government!
For years, my brutha.
On what planet,
Have you been...
To pay this one a visit?

'I happen disagree.'

Oh?
Why would that be?

'No one that stupid,
Would recommend to others...
Insisting with this to convince,
Their ignorance and stupidity.
Would be better represented,
And more beneficial to them.
By those with this mindset,
Performing it done...
In such honorable.
Respected high places.'

Wow!
And for this I can not believe,
I stopped smoking weed.

'What was that? '

Organic.
Chemically free.
And vivid were the highs.
With a clarity today,
That would drive me crazy.

And...
Why would you wish.
Or anyone, now.
Especially these days.
Be suspected,
As a nonconformist?
