A crescent moon peeps dreams
outside the bead curtain
Repeat the words of others like a parrot
in the cottage
To see the old year off
a pen borrows the peach flowers
To understand the Foolish Old Man
I rely on a story

月牙窥梦珠帘外
鹦鹉学舌茅舍中
笔借桃花辞旧岁
俺凭故事懂愚公
