Remains No Art Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Remains No Art

Remains no art

Artists are pushed aside
When they decide
To favor or go against
It is not in their interest

An art remains no art
When you depart
From the spirit of fairness
It remains then only chase

The moment it is out for circulation
It meets with lots of excitation
The readers come in picture
It is assumed as book of future

With little deviation from public stand
It loses its brand
It is looked upon with suspicious eyes
The respect and honor for poet dies

You shall not stick
Eels you shall be offered bricks
Public function shall be stoned
You will be hooted and condemned
