Remember when we had the moon?
We were titans reigning the heaven
But shadows sailed to our directions
They wore gleaming costumes
Their charms beget a crack between us
The common ground we stood on,
Became two different worlds
And beats of our hearts, differed
Remember when we had the stars?
We were a pride of the night
Now, in the enlightened moment,
The beauty of the stars is buried
Roads we now travel, are deception to thorny paths
We are stuck on a desire of what we had
For, what we've lost, is godly.
If time could rewind its hands,
To a second before rivers dried,
That moment, we would hold still
And never let it dry with the waters
For, it's a place so heavenly
Unbreakable and magical we were
Now, we melt in sun and rain
What could be a misplaced essence?
Remember when we were lovebirds?
We flew the skies twin feathered
Now, we've fallen on broken wings
