Remember Me Poem by Elton Dean

Remember Me

These words I type are meaningless to those who hold no meaning,
My breath is nothing but waste lost in the atmosphere,
My dreams are to be laughed at and torn apart,
I do not have the right to stand any more.

Everything that I am is a torment from my evolution
I do not belong with the angels
I can’t accept my fate
But it has be decided by the others

The wind turns and the rain falls sharp
I have no tears for this emotion
But the hatred that i have will burn fierce
My heart has charred with blisters and does not function

I wait for the dancing man to lead my cortege
The stick he holds will smash into the ground
People will stare emotionless out of dirty windows
No cares and i have no choice but to follow alone

Who will cry for me and rejoice my life?
Will you?
I doubt it
My name will erode from my tombstone where no flowers lay
For I did not exist in life for you to know who I am
