Remembering The Past Poem by Chase Goody

Remembering The Past

Rating: 5.0

In silence I sit all alone
Remembering my past and how much i've grown
I didnt think I would go through so much pain
When I should have had sunshine, I had rain
But i dont want sympathy, I dont want you to feel sorry for me
Im just telling you how my past came to be
Just when I needed him, he wasn't there
I tried to make him stay but he vanished into thin air
He told me he loved me, or so I thought
So I tried to make it work and for us I fought
Now we dont see eachother, we dont even talk
And I realized something last night on my walk
I didnt want to hurt you, you just made me sad
I just wanted your love...
Are you hearing this, Dad?
