Reminder Poem by Not Long Left

Reminder

Rating: 5.0

Two heads sway
upon two streched skin necks
like broken flowers
half severed from their stalks.

Necks that sink down like melted candle wax
onto their clingfilm wrapped bodies.
Melted plastic features, two ancient creatures
fading by the minute like smoke clouds.

Walking books of history,
unremarkable against the black of the window
strikingly startling under the leer of the light.
Mouth and teeth moving in different times,
their faces are never seen during the night.
so many deep folding, memory holding lines.

Imagine the future,
They did once.

Outstanding description, Vincey, culminating in a truly touching and wistful finish. Like it. A lot! ! Run this under a spellchecker and it'll be perfect. Warm regards and a 10 from Gina.
