In every Tamil village or town
When a road can’t go straight
And parts into the hands of a T
There presides an idol
Of the remover of obstacles
Lord Ganesh with elephant visage
Reverently placed
Day and night, rain or sun
Tempest, floods or deluge
He sits there smiling
Granting passers by
Apparent choice to choose left or right
Blessed are the ones
Whom he guides
Left or right
He is always right
They never rue
Have no worries
About paths trodden
No dilemmas about roads not taken
Such is the faith
The obstacle-remover grants
With Him therefore begins
All beginnings that are planned
At the T-junctions of life
There ain’t then any culs de sac
A Beautiful poem on Lord Ganesha, remover of all obstacles. In any crossroads of our life, we can cross any obstacles, when we have faith, or may be some belief on supreme power above us....Loved reading it.
Having faith in a remover of obstacles can bestow a better frame of mind and the confidence thus gained can clear the path of all obstacles and facilitate the road towards success.
When we are at cross roads of life, unable to choose our direction, if we place our faith in the One above all of us, definitely He will guide us! One can visualize Him in any image... in Ganesha, Lord Krishna, Prophet Mohammed or Jesus Christ! All religions converge in Him! A great write on the Tamil practice of placing the idol of Ganesha at T junctions!

I would like to translate this poem
Have no worries About paths trodden No dilemmas about roads not taken Those who concentrate on traffic and fail to view the idol have no chance of crossing the T. They must wait their turn to get the view. I appreciate the underlying thought that all must learn. Thank you.
