Renewed Life Poem by Paul Sebastian

Renewed Life

My heart, straightened, renewed, is aglow,
Renewed mission; new breakthrough
A daily-travelled road, so well, I know:
Teaching and counseling: I passionately do.

Contemplating on my past:
Planting, growing dreams that last;
Learning from mistakes made: I have grown.
Swinging illusory feelings, I have known.
Heart reigned, distracting my mission
Head feigned reign, blurring my life’s vision
My heart lent to a friend’s need,
Concern and care, sharing I did
Some gratitude did I expect.
But, no return in this respect
Help to someone, is freely given
There’s no return, no expectation
Good deeds need no mention
Done in secret, bring unique satisfaction
Life lessons learnt, wisdom earned
New lifestyle shall it be, I promised.
My journey continues…
Learning new virtues
A mission to accomplish
A vision to relish
So, I walk on
I press on
