Renowned Novelist Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Renowned Novelist

Rating: 3.5

“Do you know I am renowned novelist”?
Best in music and very good player as violinist
I have been known abroad and honored
Only at home no one knows me and stand ignored

I could visibly understand his annoyance
There was truth and some substance
It had infuriated him at once
The frustration was seen and felt at once

One point must be learnt and understood
Whatever you do is always for common good
It will be too much if you expect something in return
You will fall victim of inferiority complex in turn

The knowledgeable person is like tree
The fruit is there and available for free
It bends tree in recognition of fact
This is one of the most known acts

An individual turns peaceful and calm after certain stage
Sometimes that part is played by the growing age
Yet knowledge makes him vulnerable to criticism
But positive manner earns him honor and sheds pessimism

They may privately air their grievances
But with the fear that it should not leak at once
Their life was spent entirely for the noble cause
And this was the only reason to keep quite or pause

At home front they are complete failure
Their life is in pathetic condition and very much unsure
They have earned only name and not the fortune
Life has been put out of gear and tune

There are many forums that help the stalwarts
Known writers and academicians for renewed bid and start
Their life time achievement should not be marred by frustration
The later part must be enjoyed with surety in relation
