Repeated Conclusions Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Historic evidence has proven,
Advanced civilizations...
Mysteriously come to abrupt ends.
To discover under rubble uncovered,
Found hoarded wealth near or it hidden...
Not too far from the skeletal hands,
Clutching onto what was most precious to value.

And...
It is with repeated conclusions,
Such advanced societies end.
When the ones who claim,
To obtain overwhelming intelligence.
Eventually defeat themselves.
With increasing prioritized,
Ignorance to defend.
Weaponized just to protect until destroyed,
Their own existence.
Limited to a lack of common sense.
Worshipped to blind their minds.

"This can not be happening! "

What?

"That massive object.
Appearing to descend.
This can not be real.
The size of it."

You know...
Even in the Bible,
These 'objects' are descibed.
Yet...
Nowhere near does it say,
What has happened..
To all the other people.
It is almost as if,
They disappeared from Earth.
And had been taken away.

"What are you implying? "

There must have been times,
When repeated conclusions...
Arrive to leave without explanation!
