Reprieve. Poem by Holly Heron

Reprieve.

Sitting here my heart quickens,
Waiting for reprieve,
Reprieve from sorrow,
Repreive from despair,
From lonliness.
I sit here and wait,
For your words of forgivness,
For you words of love,
I await reprieve,
Don't torture me much longer.
