Republican's Hatred Poem by Randy McClave

Republican's Hatred

"They are not like us! " the people cursed and shouted
Their reasoning for prejudice no one had doubted,
They had come to our country, our great land
Their wants and needs and desires should all be banned.
They want to steal our jobs and murder and rape
From them and their evil ways we must all escape,
"Their people create nightmares! " they then all screamed
Their evil cannot be forgotten, or ever redeemed.
Let's lock them all up and put their children in a cage
Let them feel our hatred and all of our rage,
"They should all go back to where they all come from"
Shouted the bigots and the racists and the stupid and the dumb.
Our elected leader is of course on our side
He too believes that they are evil (but, of course he lied) ,
They are just mindless soulless animals they are not people
"Sanctuary they all cry! while hiding underneath a churches steeple".
Listen to them talk they don't sound like us at all
I wish around out great country we had an impenetrable wall,
Look at their faces and the color of their skin
In our beautiful country, the likes of them should not be allowed in.
People like them do not deserve rights or even a trial
People like them are nothing more than scum, and they all are vile,
Then that night many were caged, or shot, or hung from a tree
This was Nazi Germany, about 1943.
