Rescued Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

Rescued

Relishing your intense gaze;
responding to your touch, i
revel in your presence as my own
resolute world spins out of control,
releasing me from fallow dreams in
rising and falling rhythms.

Racing hearts beating faster,
rushing waves, rippling and
ready to meet their own;
reaching for love in ravenous
raptured kisses, i am
revitalized, resurrected;
reborn.
