I don't think the devil resembles you at all - not from what I've seen of your heart and mind. If anything, he would like to be more like you... but then he would no longer be a devil.

Nice lines. Imagination can take wings here. Humans are prone to seven sins (as per the bible) and nine sins (as per Puranas) . One who acquires these sins, he definitely becomes a devil but one who understands these sins and shed them taking corrective steps remains a human. Secondly it requires guts to admit about one's weaknesses and shortcomings.
