I usually shy away
from political writings
but this concept
caught my eye

Resistance Is Patriotic!
It fosters change,
challenges the status quo,
causes examination

of procedures, rules, laws,
customs, fashions
that all make up
the blazing stereotypes

that regulate
a functioning society.
How can we advance
if we don't resist,

attempt to find new ways
of accomplishing things
with a burning yearning
deep inside

that what you're doing
is right
for your country or world.
