Respite (Gogyoshi 5-Line Poem) Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Respite (Gogyoshi 5-Line Poem)

With tranquil moments
Respite moves me to look inwardly
in a brief recess of Time
immerse my thoughts in reflections
as glimpses of rainbow memories flow.

You say it beautifully Cynthia. I am reminded of lines from Shelly's Adonais: Life, like a dome of many-colored glass, Stains the white radiance of Eternity, Until Death tramples it to fragments
