There is such a melancholy yet wonder-filled aura all about these words; this truly is the kind of poetry I long to read. Very moving; I can smell the sweet rain, hear that lonesome train, feel the lightness of that empty baggage, and breath deep the calmness these mysteriously magnanimous words are so perfectly expressing. For that, thank you.

This is such a timely poem because we are in the midst of days and nights of rain here in the Twin Cities. Of the many ways of appreciating poetry, one way is surely to amplify the moment by a poetic version of it. And that's exactly what your poem did - it made my day larger and more rewarding and more appreciated because of your precise images of a soggy day and the mood it put you in. That became the mirror in which I could see myself and the window through which I saw my world. And, yes, I hope the feeling lasts but it WILL last on paper.

If you can find solace within your own mind, share it with others, today, and be kind..
