Return of Monsoon

Night sets in
After sun fades in west
The night spreads net
All animals and birds go for rest

Even sun runs further
And offers
Light to another part
That illuminates another world from the start

If there was no night
There would have been no fight
For doing more activities
Even there was no ability

The circle is complete
If night also competes
With day's activities
There shall be no miseries

The autumn fades
And spring sets
With flowers blooming
There shall be no gloom

We are thankful for nature
With its fixed tenure
Season after season
Earth awaits return of monsoon

A nice thought provoking poem. Your expectation that if people were as engaged during night as they are during daytime, would lead to less conflicts and misery, appears to me to be very idealistic. In fact, the miseries could double because of more time to indulge in their activities. GSP Rao, Nov 23,2017
