Reverberation Poem by Bryan Taplits

Reverberation

The skies retraced their rainbow hue
All bells would peal, cry out,
My jaunt seemed a bit jauntier
As though every enemy I would rout.
Rejoiced I was to view you that day
My heart reverberated towards my soul
Just one thing kept me from kneeling and genuflecting:
My day-dream was one more year old.
