*reverse Psychology (Put In Your Place)

Rating: 2.7

I took a ride out
From the edge of cities burning
Filthy liar
‘Cause I was too afraid to start the fire
Tonight
Burn myself, but rather burn my journal
Outright
Inside lives all the memories
But I don't care
Rather live my life with you despite
The cross you bear
When the things I say to you make you
Wanna cry
I'm so sorry if you ever thought
I wanted to die
I just wanna get the hell out of here

Not in denial
No longer relish or cherish
My broken smile
The one I know that you knew every time
I'd hide it
My being sad isn't worth you having to
Have it
Locking behind cold and doors and always
Suppress
You don't have to do this for me
Trying my best
I will reverse these emotions
So you'll be free
Now that I know what it's like having to
Live with me
I would want to get the hell out of here

Jaded
Wasted
It's the feelings I'm left with when I
Lie down
Give up
Now I know how it feels to be put in your place
And I wouldn't trade that for anything
