Rewrite History Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Rewrite History

I was considered as an outcast
But that has ended fast
We are given constitutional rights
After offering so much of fight

The history is rewritten
The pat words are eaten
Now no more driven
To the corner as helpless and shaken

Never before we were shown real world
The pain and agony remained untold
Thank god, we are offered enough of opportunities
Only we have to come forward and mix with all eh communities

It is nation and its people
Who have waged the struggle?
And earned freedom and liberty
We are thankful to all those who have paid dearly

The march shall go on
Many hearts are yet to be won
The history must be forgotten
The leaf has to be picked up for history to be rewritten

Millions of souls come on beautiful earth Remain for certain period and meet with death Hardly few shall make fine note As life has compelled them to be caught at each level
