Rhetoric Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

Rhetoric

Who will run my race?
If I do not fight for my right
On the day of my demise
What will I offer to life?
If I lose my sight
How do I face my plight?
What that brought me smile
Is about to take my life
When was my right sold?
How about the chapter I've closed?
Countless are the people I've offend
Think of the good I've expelled
Where have I kept my mind?
My dreams isn't left behind?
My destiny is it still in my hand?
What makes me differ from the blind?
