Rhythm Of Jazz And Soul - Poem by olawale famodun

I love the Jazz
I love the Soul
I love the rhythm
In the Jazz and Soul.
I love the way the song goes
And the rhythm, like water on the run
And wind tiptoeing out of the sun.
I love the O Jazz
I love the Soul O
The Jazz is the body
The Soul is the spirit.
It is cool all the way
As Cool Jazz is cool.
It is free, so free, and so free
Jazz has entered Soul
And Soul is into Jazz.
Then the world is one
The harmony is mutual
The spirit is high, and
Nothing can hurt the body
When it is still alone.
Jazz and Soul I love you;
You love me, Jazz and Soul.
