Rhythm - Poem by Kim Hooten

Heart beats
Eyes blink
Feet walk
Mouth talks
Hand writes
Lungs breathe

Hammers fall
Birds call
Sun sets
Moon rises
Lives end
New ones begin

Earth turns
Planets orbit
Galaxy spins
Stars die

But still the heart beats
