Rich Bounty Poem by David Harris

Rich Bounty

Rating: 5.0

The trees are bare from winter,
all the foliage is gone,
but if you look closely
you will notice their life is yet gone.
On each limb of the tree
there is the awakening of new life from within
as spring sings its song
with warm winds and gentle showers
to warm and water the earth
bringing forth the rich bounty
that summer is waiting for.
The hibernating creatures will soon awake
to fill the land once more
as we bask again under the blue sun filled skies
as season follows season
to enrich our lives.
