Rich Pursuit Poem by Naveed Akram

Rich Pursuit

An inglorious pursuit is at hand surely,
Shame is the order of professions that lie;
A lying beast shames the liar himself,
He blesses us, then he passes us in our suffering,
To be a pursuit of truthfulness carries no blame.
The complication is absurd, more than brilliant,
Pennies are attached, and the rich people find it.
They play backgammon, fully professors;
As beautiful as grapes for their knowledge.
Richness is a special joy of talents and master ship,
Ingoing guilt is at hand, finding the right goal.
