Riddle In Summer

who will be there to douse the sun
so that the clouds to the children run
keeping them cooler in the shade
drinking the last of the lemonade
licking the icing out of the bowl
as the afternoon grows old
after long pondering,
here's a clue:
everything's done
by me or you.
