Ridin' Away Poem by MacGregor Tagliaferro

Ridin' Away

Ridin' away
Lettin' go of what
Could not be let go
The rope you tied off
Does you no good now
Ridin', fadin' away
Becomin' invisible
Though she tried
So hard to tell you that day
Standin' in the Carolina sun
