Right Before I Die Poem by Randy McClave

Right Before I Die

Last night I cried
Right before I died,
Not because I was loosing my life
And not because or worries or strife.
I cried because of my son
Who I have been with since his life begun,
I cried just because of him
And how his future unto me looked so grim.
I will see my son no more
When I walk through heaven's door,
Then when our lord I do meet
I will throw my crowns at his feet.
My son sadly enough isn't saved
Though his salvation I have wanted and craved,
Never was there a joyful celebration
After accepting Jesus as his salvation.
In Hell he will be forever damned
Into the fiery pit he will be slammed,
And he will be tormented In everlasting pain
Fastened with a chain.
He will be in the depths of Hell beneath
With the gnashing of his teeth,
He will always see me as I'm in Heaven above
He'll remember how him I did truly love.
But, my son never again will I see
He won't be locked in my memory,
That is why I cried
Last night before I died.
