Right From Freedoms Struggle Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Right From Freedoms Struggle

Rating: 5.0

Right from freedom struggle
We are facing time and again with same trouble
We are not fit to be called human
Even though we always for good as man and woman

What have we done to get mercy?
We gave thorny crown to almighty
To bleed more for our cause
Still we did not stop or pause

Move down in history’s pages
What did we do to messiahs and sages?
We hanged them or killed
Many were put behind and jailed

Why Kennedy had to face bullet?
Why Gandhi met same fate?
What was fault with other people?
They waged for us an honest struggle

We are thankless creatures
We want no shadow for our future
We want our children safe and healthy
How come He rushes to our rescue?

Let us be reasonable
Cause no hatred or trouble
It shall help for our future generation
With strong bond and relation

A wise suggestion Vinay BenjaminLess than a minute ago The poet has brought out through examples the result of hatred and in the closing lines wisely suggested the solution.
