We have been brutalized
We seek justice… we respond with depravity
God does nothing
Ours have been murdered
We seek vengeance… we respond with retribution
God does nothing
We have been disrespected
We seek superiority… we respond with humiliation
God does nothing
We are justified by His silence
If we are false… He will stop us
We are not stopped
If God is with us, who can stand against us?
God is great... we are righteous!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Using God and religion to justify evil is never correct. I think during this last year my eyes have been opened to how warped some individuals have become in the name of God. I am deeply saddened by this.
