River Poem by Ronald Chapman

River

Travel quietly like a foggy day.
Drugged me forever. My watery world wears no fear.
Never swim a cascade.

What fools I carry in tubes.
Wow, adventure!
Cold, misty whirlpools roughly love a warm, sunny boy.

Help me!

Clear, cold waterfalls calmly command old, misty shores.
Flood roughly like a rough wave.
Why does the river flood?

Rivers endure!

Lord, destruction!
