Roam Wild Mist Poem by jodde taylor

Roam Wild Mist

Translating in corners
of shadows,
bare and spoken
beneath the shallow falling
of the skin,
gales blow gently,
while the wild mist clings.

Far off, in the distance
the whistle man sings,
navigating away
to the cold, dawn born light.

Above iced petal tops,
where valleys flow
with colours, of days burned
quietly slumbering,
they rise!
among all endings.

Roaming in spirit
through trees and green grass,
a white apparition,
comes trailing past
mysterious mist,
come follow me home.

Where Winter is waiting
to let your song glow
roam wild! ..roam wild!
wherever you go! ..

Around, high cliff mountains
across flowing streams,
gather your memories
of all you have seen,
then curl yourself near
where a wild heart dreams...

Come away with me,
roam wild mist!
wear yourself around my heart! ..
