So Dear Poem by jodde taylor

So Dear

Rating: 5.0

So dear, his heart
felt like screaming fire;
I kissed upon his forehead all wishes
his hopes, I desired for him always.

When I turn to see him,
there are aching moments
of this a drowning place
with only room for emotion.

These ships, which carry us away
we go with the breeze,
following shadows haunting ourselves
the depths of places, far from home.

To see the clarity rise,
in sighs of a smile
to lift the world, upon your shoulders
these qualities, invigorate a travelers mile.

To shine! so dear! to shine! ..

Within an echo I'll always hear
the words which kissed and fell to my ear
oh my sweet, sweet love!

While candles burn and hours break
beneath the moonlight, we did shake
to say adieu! ..would only bring me back to you.

Here in this current, I feel no waking sorrow
for you are always near,
even in dreams you stand so clear
when fall arrives, and time leaves with the tide
I'll watch for you again;
I'll stand by, your every step.

Just to see your core, circle my heart
I shall let you take me down;
knowing I may never recover,
but for you so dear, life I shall always discover.

To shine! so dear! to shine! ...
